Main Line Today’s Best Overall Chef of 2017 joins Grain Kennett Square.
(March 29, 2018) - Chef Dave Wenerd brings his passion for creative tastes and visual appeal to historic Kennett Square. Chef Dave will drive Grain’s award-winning craft menu while developing the location’s event and catering efforts.
Chef Dave’s career includes numerous accolades. A graduate of The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College, Chef Dave was recognized as Fig Magazine’s 2016 “Chef of the Year” and Main Line Today Magazine’s 2017 “Best Overall Chef.” Previously, Chef Dave was the Executive Chef at The Gables at Chadds Ford, and The Bistro on the Brandywine.
Grain Craft Bar + Kitchen’s creative and comfortable brand fit Chef Dave’s style perfectly. The Kennett Square location was just awarded “Best Brews and Grub” by County Line Magazine. With 25 craft beers on tap and a lengthy list of cocktails, wines and spirits, Grain Kennett Square offers much to complement Chef Dave’s creations. Chef Dave has already planned his rooftop garden next to Grain’s rooftop dining spot overlooking Kennett Square, named “410@Grain.”
